As a wedding photographer, I thrive on opportunities to explore creative projects that spark inspiration and push the boundaries of my craft. Recently, I had the incredible privilege of photographing a vintage bridal shoot at the breathtaking Chateau de Lis. This stunning location provided the perfect backdrop for a timeless and elegant aesthetic, and I was fortunate to collaborate with some of the most talented vendors in the industry. Together, we brought a vision of vintage romance to life.
I adore old-world charm and classic bridal fashion and I wanted to create something that felt timeless yet unique, combining soft, romantic details with the grandeur of a historic venue. Chateau de Lis, with its elegant architecture and lush grounds, was the ideal setting for this photoshoot
The Vendors Who Made It Happen:

- Florals: Dalias Fine Designs created breathtaking arrangements that perfectly complemented the vintage theme. The bouquet and table arrangements featured muted tones and delicate textures that felt both luxurious and understated.
- Wardrobe: Would you believe me if I told you the dress was thrifted? Well, it was! The vintage-inspired bridal gown, a true masterpiece with intricate lace detailing and a flowing silhouette that captured the essence of old-world elegance.
- Host: Sittin Pretty Shots was the visionary behind this shoot. She did a wonderful job at coordinating all of the venues to bring this vision to life.
- Venue: Chateau de Lis was the perfect venue to stage this photoshoot. The venue has a castle-like feel that gives these photos the feel of vintage romance.
- Bride: Kait Amanda was our wonderful model. She executed and brought to life all of the different pieces that made this shoot so special.
Every element of this shoot was designed with care to evoke a sense of timeless romance. For the reception table, antique gold accents, crystal glassware, and a cascading centerpiece that tied the look together seamlessly. Our model brought the vision to life with grace and poise, embodying the vintage bride perfectly.
This creative project was a reminder of why I love what I do. Stepping outside of the typical wedding day timeline allowed me to focus purely on artistry and storytelling. It was a joy to collaborate with such passionate vendors and to see our collective vision come to life at a venue as magical as Chateau de Lis.
